Preparation

After we purchase your vehicle and prepare it for shipment according to Japanese law and regulations. Paper work is filled out and completely controlled on the Japanese port side including the Pack List, Invoicing and other vehicle associated fees. Warehousing

Our vehicles are delivered by truck to our warehousing facilities and loaded into a container or lashed down on a roll on roll off ship and set for shipment.

Travel Time

Your vehicle will arrive in your country within 6 – 8 weeks time.

Port Arrival

Once arrived at port the vehicles customs documentation is taken care of. Taxes are paid and the vehicle is stored in our warehouse.

Registration of Vehicle and Certification

Once the vehicle clears customs the vehicle is then delivered to your local transportation office, registered and certified on your behalf. (optional)

Delivery

We drop your vehicle and your keys off at your door by carrier truck and finished the paperwork.

Shipping Information

Roll on Roll off Shipment

Special ships designed for shipping cars are available and is cheaper. Although please be aware that the schedule of shipments is less often lengthening delivery time and your vehicle is susceptible to weather conditions.

Container Shipment

We will usually ship your vehicle by 20 or 40 foot container pending on the vehicle or vehicles.

Invoice

A document filled for the purchase of the vehicle with taxes included.

Packing List

A document filled out that label the number of vehicles being shipped, weight, and container size. If more than one vehicle is shipped at the same time the container fee is the same regardless of vehicles.

CNF and CIF

CNF – Cost No-Insurance Freight is the complete invoiced cost of the vehicle including taxes and shipping fees without insurance applied to your vehicle. CIF – Cost Insurance Freight is the complete invoiced cost of the vehicle including taxes and shipping fees with insurance included into the price. Both can be offered and are recommended.

DDU and DDP

DDU – Door Delivery Unpaid Tax is the entire cost of the vehicle excluding the import taxes and can be paid upon arrival. DDP – Door Delivery Paid Taxes is the entire amount you will need to pay for your vehicle to have shipped to your home including the import taxes applied previous to shipment.
